Obesity Within Schools
Why are schools the ones to blame? Schools are a simple target for the mass media to pin point weaknesses at. The fatty foods available at tuckshops and the lack of physical education within schools could be the two biggest factors that will obesity is blamed with. But what about the parents? Parents are the ones that provide the children along with the money to purchase food at the tuckshops, not the coaches. And with physical activity parents are to blame. Teachers can't control children's outside activities, leaving it beyond their control to maintain a good level of exercise for children outside the school hours; that is your parents' job.
But that's to blame? Your media portrays schools as being the cause, blaming the unhealthy food purchased at the tuckshop and not enough physical activity in schools necessary for the children. Schools are a hassle-free target for the media to criticize, accordingly leaving the public eye to look at only the media's perspective about them. This media believes that teachers are not motivating children enough to partake in exercise and that schools are not attempting to increase your rate of exercise with regard to children. This media also believes that the sausage rolls, meats pies, lollies, soda pops etc, are also the reason obesity. Schools do not only have unhealthy foods, but the media will not only mention that as it's their way of reporting for a one sided perspective. It is easily identified that this media is just looking for something/someone to blame on the subject matter of obese little ones, but yet society is usually drawn in to side using opinions/views.
